5,4,3,2,1 – SEND!

Well, after YEARS of trying and STILL not 100% sure I have the timing right. I have hit the SEND button!!!

I have spoken in other speeches and articles the importance of being willing to try new things, no matter how scary that sometimes is.

Your willingness to F.A.I.L – First Opportunity In Learning, is what will lead to your eventual success, perhaps not in the area you expected, but you will always be building new skills!

I have DREAMED of being on Canada’s Got Talent since it first came out, but I always had an excuse, when really, it was me simply being too afraid to try!
Folks who know me, generally see me as fearless…but…I’m not!…lol

Today, on this beautiful Canada Day weekend, I encourage you push yourself to try something new. A different restaurant, a new bike trail, volunteering at one of the many events going on around your local region, etc.

You just never know who you’re going to me or what connections you will make. Be open to making new friends and most of all, appreciate the small joys. They add up and can make even a tough day, not so bad.

As always, “Choose to live joyously within the tempest of adversity.”
