That’s not something most people consider ‘fun’, yet today, that’s exactly what I’m doing. Torrid, a Plus sized Women’s Clothing copany is holding a Modeling contest. Who am *I* to even consider stepping up to put myself in front of a camera?!?! I’m 50+, I’m disabled, I’m queer-looking, and though I love myself, I’m like many other women, insecure in my body.

Who am I??… I am ME, I am a confident, bold, beautiful, and bodacious woman, who can represent the 50+ community, the Disability community, the Queer community, and the Plus sized community! Then let’s throw in the fact that I am also a Speaker who is capable of sharing my messages…which today is – Make Yourself Uncomfortable. I can not only wear the clothes, but communicate how those clothes and the brand make me feel! ❤ @Torr

I want you to go out today and try new things. Walk a step further than you ever have before. Go to a new restaurant or local cafe and try new foods, compliment a complete strange, do anything you’ve never done before! Trying new things can be scary and uncomfortable, but also an amazing ride!!

Today I may not become a top model, but I intend to have fun, I intend to laugh, and I am going to be authentically ME. Oh, and I am the FIRST one in line to Shine!!
