About CJ
CJ Janzen is a speaker, a singer, a composer, a book lover who though limited by chronic illness, lives xyr life to the fullest. CJ has faced a great deal of adversity in xyr life from #MeToo and being nearly killed, to watcher xer mother die of cancer at home over 13 years, starting xer alcoholic journey at the age of 7, to now living with multiple autoimmune illnesses.
CJ has taken the many lessons xe’s learn along xer healing journey and not only come out stronger, but has used those lesson to help others.
CJ is known as The Singing Speaker because xe often interjects songs into xyr speeches for impact, for levity, but mostly because it bring xer joy!

CJ is a Bernice Adams Award Winner – Communications category

CJ volunteers at many local charitable events like for Rotary and local food bank.

Though CJ is chronically ill, xe uses xer voice to be an ME
(Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) activist to fundraise for Research and to educate the world about what ME is, and to help ME patients being held against their will in hospitals that don’t believe they are truly ill.
